Committees

Our motto: Service Above Self

Our members make a commitment to their community (local, national and international) by joining Rotarians around the world in serving others.

Our club, like other Rotary clubs, is organized into committees to further our goal to promote world wide understanding and peace through humanitarian, educational, health, and cultural exchange programs.  Some committees are mandated under club by-laws, while others are formed or terminated at the pleasure of the current president or board of directors.

We proactively serve to fight ignorance, illiteracy, hunger, poverty, and unproductive conflict.  In the process we enjoy the companionship and fellowship of like-minded individuals in our area and around the globe.

The Rotary Club of Jenkintown has a number of committees whose efforts make contributions either locally or globally.

Rotary International has published a number of manuals for some of our important committees and guides for club administration.
These are also available on the on the Rotary International Web Site.
